It gets its rich earthy colors from magnesium and iron within its crystal structure. Dravite can range from honey brown and caramel tones to deep chocolate brown and nearly black shades. 🐱 What makes it special? Part of the larger tourmaline family, one of the most diverse mineral groups on Earth. Known for its warm earthy hues and natural luster. Can form beautifully terminated crystals and is sometimes found growing alongside quartz and other minerals. Durable enough for collectors and jewelry use. 🐱 Fun Fact: The name "Dravite" comes from the Drava River region in present-day Slovenia, where the mineral was first scientifically described. These specific pieces are sold individually and will vary both in shape and size, however, will look very similar to the ones featured in the listing. These are on sale not due to the quality, but we have had these for some time and we would love for them to find homes:) These are rare and would make a great collection piece to any true mineral collector.
