This vintage style floral Décor Transfer® was inspired by the hand-painted wall panels found in traditional Swedish 18th century manor houses. Designed by artist, colourist, and inventor of Chalk Paint, Annie Sloan, the design features a pretty floral bouquet set on a stylish, hexagonal hatched backdrop and framed with coordinating floral borders. This pretty floral design was inspired by Annie’s travels to Sweden, where she visited many country homes. During the Gustavian era, these country residences were used by wealthy families to retire to during the summer months, and were often ornately designed in a French-inspired Rococo style with delicate floral and bird motifs, muted pastel colours, and delicate carved wooden mouldings.Perfect for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to your home décor, this transfer can be easily applied to furniture, wall art, and more. Simply cut out your desired design, apply it with a transfer tool, and enjoy the beautiful results! Seal with your favorite water-based sealer or clear wax. Unlike previous transfers these specific sheets fell off their barrier sheet and slipped all over.. they ended up stuck to my hardwood floor.. then once I finally got the maneuvered into place on my project space they did not transfer regardless of how much i pressed them in with a flattening tool. Myself and my customers have always had a good experience with this brand and product especially in the past. I'm not sure if this was just a faulty batch, or if something else has changed.
