They provide skilled employment to 40 workers including skilled carpenters and artisan painters whose skills give furniture a new lease of life. The work is relatively well paid due to it being skilled work and we have visited them on several occasions and found a well organised environment with a happy workforce. Almost all of the wood is recycled and if any new wood is used then it is from sustainable sources such as mango wood. They care passionately about the environment, produce no waste materials and use recycled packaging materials.
