They share borders with other ethnic groups such as the Mumuye, Jukun, and Kutep people. In Cameroon, the Chamba speakers are divided into several states, including Bali Nyonga, Bali Kumbat, Bali-Gham, Bali-Gangsin, and Bali-Gashu. It's worth noting that there are two other ethnic groups in Ghana and Togo also known as Chamba, but they are distinct from the Chamba of Nigeria and Cameroon.
