Description
These colorful turtles are a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. They are hand carved out of stone, sanded until smooth, and dyed. Then an artisan uses a knife to etch the patterns into each turtle. Sold individually. Approximately 2.75 inches long and 2.25 inches tall.

I've ordered a few times and their products are always lovely. Fine workmanship and a good variety. They do an excellent job packing them so even if the box this time was a bit banged up, every item inside was safe and undamaged. The prices have gone up, of course that's true of everything, but they are on the edge of unaffordable in my rural community.
