A detailed, hand-made Desert ironwood carving depicting the mythical Jackalope. The Jackalope is a blend of two names, the jackrabbit and antelope, being that the jackrabbit has antelope horns in its head. The popular myth of the Jackalope started in Douglas, Wyoming where a hotel owner had the rabbit and antler combination mounted in his hotel in the early 1930s. From there rumors and myths of the existence of the Jackalope spread like wildfire.
