This is a porcelain lithophane luminaire lamp. Light shining through different thicknesses of porcelain creates this highly detailed image; it is not a photo. It comes from an engraving in wax, and we cast kiln fired porcelain into a mold made from the original carving. Enter a world of mystery and promise, as you peer between the branches hanging before you, down the sunlit path into the distance. The textures and lighting are so real, you can almost touch them; you can almost smell the moist air enveloping you.... The porcelain is non-porous, and washable with any common household cleaner. It will never fade or discolor; porcelain is timeless!
