Description
Enjoy the thick, rich flavors of Kansas city barbecue with a new twist… apple! This unique sauce will liven up any dish with a kick of tangy apple to complement its sweet and smoky goodness. This is the real deal, not some cheap knockoff. As with all Rufus Teague sauces, we cook them longer, so they are less watery, and the flavor is more intense. Made with the finest natural ingredients, our sauce has a classic tomato base and is sweetened with real sugar and molasses. Just the right amount of apple juice gives it a great, fruity taste. So, make your food happy and remember, “good sauce makes bad barbecue good and good barbecue gooder.” Intended use: Brush, pour, or marinate on all types of meat and veggies. Great for dipping, cooking, or drinking straight out of the bottle. Pairings: This sauce adds a unique touch to all it compliments but works particularly well on pork. Everything from ribs to pulled pork to pork chops to hot dogs and ham sandwiches. Makes a great bacon glaze.

I am the biggest Rufus Teague fan. I started my BBQ journey 15 years ago with Touch O Heat and their Meat Rub so they hold a special place in my heart! I now carry their full like of sauces and rubs in my store, but it is always a gamble ordering from them. Their shipping containers are not appropriately sized and over the last 4 months I have lost at least 2 cases of product in the shipping process which is a HUGE bummer because I am such a big fan. Please fix this!!

I absolutely LOVE Rufus Teague and I am so excited to sell them in my new store, however I just spent almost $50k on products for this store and RT was far and away the worst packed for shipping. I had multiple broken bottles that leaked onto more product. It was a huge mess. Luckily I was able to salvage the majority of it but I don't understand the packing decisions made. Why not have shipping cases that fit your product cases? So much bubble wrap!
