We carefully blend our two boldest origins to create our darkest bar yet, made with premium cocoa beans gathered and fermented by our farmer partners: Mama Mpoki in Mababu, Tanzania, and Vitaliano Sarabia in San Jose del Tambo, Ecuador. We’re proud to work with them on our very first blended bar, which marries their Trinitario and Arriba Nacional beans for a big, bold chocolate bar with a strong cocoa flavor. I purchase chocolates from dozens of companies. The past couple of months I've purchased from 16 companies. Only 2 have come packed in styrofoam - Askinosie is one of those. The other chocolates arrived in perfect condition without the use of the most damaging environmental choice. The sourcing of their cacao is great. Their products are good to excellent. My only criticism is the shipping packaging.
