This 16th-century wax-coated wooden statue, standing at 19 inches tall, depicts the infant Jesus dressed in royal robes and holding a globus cruciger, symbolizing his sovereignty over the world. The statue's origins are linked to Spain, where it was brought to Bohemia by Princess Polyxena of Lobkowicz in 1628. Devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague grew over the centuries, with many attributing miracles and blessings to the statue. Today, it remains a significant symbol of faith and devotion, attracting pilgrims from around the world.
