Julia Gash is a creative entrepreneur and British artist who is passionate about print and maps. She creates hand drawn illustrations using brush and ink and collaborates with retailers and licensees worldwide to create sustainable and stylish gifts. I adore the old fashioned, seaside charm of Asbury Park and loved drawing its iconic Art Deco inspired architecture which harks back to a time when this was a weekend getaway and holiday from home for New Yorkers. Today, people have fun on the beach and boardwalk, which I've captured in my design and I also pay homage to the town's musical heritage with its infamous music venues and bars.
