Description
It has taken us more than 5 years to create Johan Bülow’s variation of American licorice. Red licorice - chewy with natural fruit and juice. An exquisite taste of blackcurrant, cranberry, lemon and strawberry, balanced with licorice. We have the classic Scandinavian licorice flavors, such as SWEET and SALTY, the American classic RED, which in our version is raw licorice with fruity notes and licorice added to other exquisite & natural flavors, which together with licorice create a new, unique and harmonious taste, as seen in licorice with HABANERO chili. We use rice flour that is taste-neutral, which makes other flavors in the licorice more prominent. In addition, rice flour is gluten-free. The characteristic taste of licorice in the licorice root is shaped by the soil and climate in which it grows. This means that the taste varies depending on where the licorice root is harvested and we therefore use licorice roots from different places around the world.

I love licorice and Lakrids by Bulow is the BEST in the world! Made in Denmark and covered in chocolate each bite is a whole complete flavor experience. I have customers who claim to not like black licorice or aren't sure sample Lakrids by Bulow and walk our of my shop with a jar or two! It's the best - my personal favorite is salt & caramel! Ships very quickly! I had product in my shop within a week of placing my order.
