Complementary kantha quilt and pouffe are part of the same range. • 60 x 60cm • 100% cotton Namaste has been supporting the owner of this business since she bravely set up her own small artisan workshop 15 years or so ago after losing her job when her previous employer ran into difficulties. They support 35 full time positions with more on contract work according to demand. Employee benefits and working conditions are good and wages are above minimum wage. The business gives as much work as possible to workers from the disadvantaged sections of Jaipur society, particularly to the slum areas where the really disadvantaged struggle to find well paid work.

When we ordered from Namaste, we didn't expect the package to arrive so quickly, as we are located in the US and they are in the UK. However, the package arrived to our store within a week and a half of the order being placed! The goods were all even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and the rugs smelled like spices and incense. Each piece was so beautiful, they're truly going to be the centerpieces of our store!
