Description
The inspiration for these earrings is a detail from a gold earring made during the Abbasid caliphate (7501258). considered a "Golden Age" of Muslim art, it was a distinctive style that combined Byzantine elements, a beveled style and abstract plant and geometric forms. It was later know in the west as "arabesque". Finish: solid brass, electro-plated with gold, ear wires are gold plated. Gift Boxed with Provenance Card
