This iconic sign lives right in the heart of Portland and can be viewed from the Burnside Bridge. It was once owned by the White Stag Clothing Company and rather than displaying the city name, it held the White Stag name instead. Eventually, it was adopted by Portland, and the wording changed, but the deer remained. In the winter, the nose glows red for extra holiday cheer.
