About Erin LaCerra Art

Erin LaCerra is a full-time artist creating in the realm of transcendental surrealism. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she pioneered west and now paints from her home studio in Portland, OR. Her work is motivated by the raw beauty of the natural world and the intrigue of supernatural realms. As the artist describes it, “Every time I paint, I try to tap into the liminal space and make my brush a conduit for imagery of the unseen world.” Through unwavering dedication to her craft, Erin has established herself as a fully self-sustaining artist. Her offerings are available through her online shop and wholesale site, and at select artisan and gallery shows throughout the year, where viewers often comment that her work is dreamlike, contemplative and inspiring. Of her dreamscapes some have noted they are ethereal, yet uncannily familiar. Erin is a proud recipient of a Regional Arts and Culture council grant award and the founder of Dream in Watercolor - a creative channeling workshop that guides students through the process of painting imagery from the otherworld.
