Description
This American Goldfinch greeting card measures 5.5"x4.25", is printed in my home studio on 100% recycled card stock paper, and is paired with a 100% recycled kraft brown envelope. Inside is blank. Cards can either be purchased packaging-free, or individually packaged in clear plant-based PLA "plastic" open-ended sleeves for protection while on display. The back reads: Plant some purple coneflower in your yard and this sunniest of birds might grace you with a visit! Goldfinches often flock together with other small finches like pine siskins and redpolls, and you'll often hear them zipping around together in small groups, making their distinctive "po-ta-to-chip" call in flight. They are unique in their strict vegetarian diet, consisting entirely of seeds.
