Description
This solid iron coin was struck with 80 tons of force between our hand-engraved steel Vegvisir and Helm of Awe dies! After that it's given a durable black oxide coating that won't readily rust and can be regularly handled. The Vegvísir, or Norse compass, is an Icelandic magical stave, which, according to the Huld manuscript, protects one from losing their way in bad weather. Ægishjálmur, or Œgishjalmr` or in English, “The Helm of Awe”, is a Nordic magical Stave which is meant to imbue its carrier with protection, and inspire victory in battle. We like to imagine helping in the day to day challenges of every day life, and how the stave might remind its carrier how strong they truly are at heart. The Norse Dual Stave is struck from solid iron, measures 3.3 cm in diameter, and weighs about 33 grams. Designed and engraved by Woody Maringer. **SAMPLE COIN HAS HOLE**

I continue to be extremely happy with SPM products. But this review is a nod to their buying policies. I run a very small shop and we don't have room for lots of minimum purchase quantities and high reorder prices that force a small shop to buy more than they can store. SPM is one of those rare shops that participate in the Insider program, have a small reorder minimum AND no qty requirements. I can buy 1 coin or 10. This allows small shops like mine a true control over what we buy. Thanks SPM!
