Inspired by Hans Christen Anderson’s fairytale of a tiny girl miraculously born into a flower, the Thumbelina dress is a ‘millefleur’ cotton, which literally translates as ‘thousand flowers’. It’s a guaranteed conversation-starter, imagination-igniter and twirl-inducer. Classic hand smocking is finished with intricate embroidered flowers on the chest. The Thumbelina has a signature Annafie silhouette with delicate puffed cap sleeves and a peter pan collar. Our dresses are lined in cotton to create a perfect flare for twirling and dancing like everybody’s watching.
