Ideal at breakfast, this blend celebrates sage — from the Latin salvia, “to save” — once nicknamed the “tea of France,” peppermint, ginger, elderflower & clove. The Signature of the Simples Common Sage: A true queen of the medieval garden of simples, she embodies the promise of flourishing health and ever-renewed vitality. Her name, derived from the Latin salvare (“to save”), marks her role as guardian of vigor and breath. Ginger & Black Pepper: With their warmth they provide the “perfect warmth” to awaken body and mind in the morning. Peppermint: Its lively freshness is the hallmark of sensory awakening and mental clarity, bringing a note of joy essential to the balance of the day. Elderflowers & Clove: Purifying and protective, they also enhance the flavor of the blend.
