Bamboo Silk Sock Yarn is 4/14nm in construction with 350m (383 yds) per 100g. A perfect blend of soft merino wool (21 micron), bamboo and silk. The merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable. The merino also provides some warmth and stretch to the yarn while the bamboo is breathable making sure any garment made from this yarn will not be too hot. Bamboo is also anti-bacterial making garments odour free (perfect for socks!) Finally the mulberry silk gives strength and a smooth shine, lustre which shows off paler colours extremely well.
