Our mats are porous and built to support real practice—which means they’ll show signs of love over time. Don’t worry, it won’t affect performance—and with proper care, your mat will stay in great shape. Post-Class Clean: Wipe down the top of your mat after each use with a microfiber cloth. We recommend a 1:20 solution of oil-free soap or vinegar with warm water. (Pro tip: always apply the solution to your cloth—never spray directly onto the mat.) Keep them out to dry completely prior to storing. Protect Your Practice Surface: * Avoid lotions pre-class—oils can cause staining. * Avoid storing the mats near sharp edges. * Roll it up with the top layer/logo facing out to prevent surface wrinkling. Hot Studio? Read This If you’re practicing in/own a heated studio, we highly recommend a mat towel and suggest ordering Charcoal for the best stain camouflage. These products have a manufacturing issue and are not fit for purpose. They were used for 1 week in an air-conditioned Pilates studio and have multiple sweat stains on every mat, permanent rips where the mats were rolled up and stacked together, and when pulled apart they left a permanent line. Every time we use them they get more and more gross. I think the product was good but this batch has some kind of problem with the finish - their wholesale site now says not for studio use.

We’ve had multiple complaints from clients because when they are first unrolled, the fabric/top liner was stretched from being rolled up and never went back to normal (unlike the thinner play mats that completely flatten out after a day or so). Now there are multiple mats that have ripped from general use because of the gathering of the material. For such a pricey mat I wouldn’t expect such poor quality
