Spectacular and environment friendly handles! In order to reduce the supply of exotic wood while offering variety and attractive designs, we constructed handles from repurposed Finnish birch tinted strips. The handles are assembled by hands in our Chambery, FR workshop with natural glues.

missing a couple items, some of the boxes were damaged, but knives inside fine - asked for replacement boxes - they're sending replacement boxes and missing knives. I do notice that the opinel items on faire are more expensive than the same items on the opinel wholesale site (by quite a bit, in some cases) - I didn't realize this 'til just now. Regardless, Opinel products are terrific - I'll just pay better attention to costs in the future!
