Alpaca wool is considered one of the best natural wool types. The fibers of alpaca wool are incredibly soft and superfine (approximately 22-28 microns), comparable to cashmere wool. Due to the superfine fibers, alpaca throws itch much less on bare skin than wool from other animal species. The wool is also thermally warm, meaning it has a cooling effect in summer and feels pleasantly warm in winter. Additionally, alpaca wool is stronger than regular wool, wears out less quickly, and pills less. The throw consists of 2 colors, finished with fringes. Composition: 30% Alpaca wool 10% Merino wool 60% Acrylic Synthetic material has been added to these throws to prevent the wool from felting. It also keeps the throws flexible and gives them a slight stretch.
