Wholesale Organic Hojicha

Our Organic Hojicha is a medium roast green tea from Shizuoka, made for a warm, comforting cup. Where matcha is shaded and kept green, hojicha takes a different path. The leaves are roasted rather than shaded, which is what turns them deep amber, draws out the toasty aroma, and leaves the tea naturally low in caffeine. Shizuoka, Japan's most established tea region, is where ours is grown and roasted. Organically grown and gently roasted, it pours mellow and nutty, with soft cocoa notes, a smooth body and a naturally sweet finish.
