Koigu’s history is deeply rooted in Estonian handicrafts & traditions. This series is inspired by the colourful woven wool skirts worn by Estonian women as part of their folk costumes. Each region has a unique skirt that is worn to important events like the song & dance festivals happening every 4 years in the summer. Next international festival 2025. Base used KPPPM Milled in the UK & Hand Dyed in Canada 100% Merino Wool 170 yds/50g 3.0mm Needles (US 3) 28 stitches by 36 stitches over 10cm by 10cm
