Sulcorebutia Rauschii Cactus is an unusual but very eye-catching species. This is a highly variable species with several forms with light green to purple coloration and small black spines. The stems are covered by flat tubercles, up to 1.6 inches (4 cm) tall and up to 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. Flowers are deep magenta, funnel-shaped, up to 2 inches (5 cm) long, and about the same diameter. Light/Soil/Water: - Light shade when young, full sun later ( light shadow may be useful in the hot summer days). - Sand mix succulent soil, porous, and well-draining soil. - Water deeply only when soil is dry and let it drain completely. Reduce watering during winter.
