arms are not long nor slouchy- it is not an oversized sweatshirt so if you want it to appear slouchy and oversized as pictured definitely go up a few sizes. The material is a feel that is not a traditional standard sweatshirt and unfortunately will not sell in our store. This is my fault I should have checked the material prior to ordering.
