Matrix with pink tourmaline bars and presence of aquamarine This piece is a sample of Brazilian pegmatite composed of a matrix of quartz and feldspar, featuring well-defined crystals of pink tourmaline (rubellite) alongside bluish areas suggesting the presence of aquamarine. The dimensions of this specimen are approximately 15 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm, with a weight close to 3.7 kg. Pink tourmaline is considered to have protective properties and to convey calm. It is also used to balance energies and promote emotional healing processes.
