This exquisite 1812 nautical scherenschnitte reproduction features a slight 3D effect. We placed an extra piece of glass between the black background and the paper cutting for some added dimension, and we think you will like the results! Lacy eighteenth-century cutwork were cut freehand with scissors from strong rag paper. Our antiqued paper is cut and placed on a black paper stock, then framed behind glass in a black frame with gold trim. The back is covered in 100% recycled craft paper and includes a saw tooth hanger. The perfect addition to traditional, historical or Colonial decor.
