Created by high-school sweethearts from San Antonio, this book of six original card games is inspired by the natural beauty and warmth of The Lone Star State. The book offers a variety of experience for gamers and novices alike, but all of the games are intended to be approachable. Here is an overview: Written by Thomas and Kelly Cardwell. The illustrations are by Texan illustrator Nathan Brown. Game design by Thomas Cardwell in collaboration with Kelly Cardwell, Jonah Kagan (Roadrunner), Cardner Babakitis (The Stars at Night), and Davi Paulino (Bluebonnets). I LOVE this book, and I know my clients will, too. It may be small at first glance, but the rich forest green FABRIC cover with gold is SO much more impressive in real life! The explanations of the games are awesome, and the illustrations are gorgeous. Now, all it needs is a deck of cards to go with it...And, the suits should be Salmon, Wine, Mountains, and Trees...
