Peace Pagoda Watercolor Artwork During my landscape painting course in London, we spent two of the days painting along the River Thames in Battersea Park. We painted facing the Thames with the Peace Pagoda behind us. Peace Pagodas are designed to promote peace across all groups of people. I ate lunch on the benches that surrounded the pagoda, and it was so peaceful observing the Buddhist architecture of the pagoda and the surrounding areas.
