BUNNY ROMP: Boro Inspired Quilt Hand Sewn With Vintage Fabric , BUNNY ROMP: I have seen this bunny icon often in my search of vintage Japanese fabric. It is lyrical and joyous and the images vary a bit. Couple this with Beatrix Potter's Tales of Peter Rabbit and you have the perfect baby shower present. Except for a few basting stitches, I sew all my quilts by hand, with a needle and thread. I have more control and can use a thicker cotton thread for more durability. The vintage sewing techniques I use coupled with the vintage fabric and organic batting make for a very well loved product. One of a kind, every quilt I make is a study in print and pattern, color and texture. The thin heirloom batting gives it warmth but not bulk. Air dry on a line or draped - do not recommend the dryer. Clothes dryers are harsh on fabric. I lay them over a railing after washing - doesn't take long.
