About CQC LA

At CQC LA, our mission is to bring the beauty of handcrafted quilts and clothing into homes and lives, while also making a positive impact on the world. Our founder was inspired by the rich cultural experiences of his childhood in India, and wanted to share the warmth and comfort of his memories with others. He discovered a community of skilled artisans who specialized in handcrafting quilts and handprinted fabric for clothing, and set out to bring their craftsmanship to California. However, as he delved deeper into his search, he realized that he could do much more than just bring the warmth of quilts into homes and the beauty of handprinted fabrics for everyone to enjoy. He could use his passion to help make a real difference in the world, and in particular, to fight against child hunger in India, a cause that he cares deeply about. This realization gave birth to our mission: "ONE QUILT. ONE CHILD. ONE LIFE." We believe that every quilt or piece of clothing has the power to change a life, and we take this responsibility seriously. That is why, for every quilt or clothing item purchased, we partner with Akshaya Patra, a leading organization dedicated to alleviating child hunger in India and feeds 2.8 million children everyday in India, and donate a portion of the proceeds to their cause. This way, every quilt purchased from CQC LA is not just a beautiful piece of art, but also a symbol of hope and a commitment to making a difference. Read their story
