Proudly grown by a cooperative of farmers in Sirārakhong and sourced for us by our friends Zeinorin & Alan of Hillwild. Legend has it that the villagers' ancestors found these exquisitely long, vibrant chillies growing in the wild on a hunting trip that they then brought home and have made a part of their daily cuisine ever since. The quality of Diaspora Co spices is in a class of its own, both their single spices e.g. turmeric, black pepper, fennel, cinnamon, and ginger and their masalas. I just tried the Haldi Doodh with coconut milk and honey. Absolutely the best. Our customers here at Olive Branch Fair Trade love the quality, the packaging, and the fact that Diaspora Co pays farmers even better than fair trade prices.
