Market of Stars ships TARIFF-FREE to the USA! Folklore is our fairytale celebration of the Arts & Crafts movement, and our nod to the beauty of “non-finito” (art that is a work-in-progress). The printed Bird of Peace comes from an original hand stitched work by fibre artist Kim Donohoe. The background comes from unfinished works created in 1885 by British artist William Morris, whose original pencil sketch lines can be seen where the designs remain incomplete. We left these in intentionally, to celebrate the profound beauty of the artistic process. This dress is reversible! Wear it with the bird on the front or the back. Please note: The nature of viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend wearing a full or half-slip with this style. 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo).
