The sacred heart is part of Catholic artistic tradition. It is a symbol of love that has transcended its original religeous context, and been embraced by many for its powerful visual depth of meaning. Carved in mother of pearl, an organic gem glowing with irridescent light and color, this piece is wroght with meaning and beauty. The mother of pearl cabochon measures 18x25mm, chain is 18" + 2" extender. Made of 14k gold plated brass+coated to prevent tarnish, lead and nickel free, hypoallergenic. Assembled in our Sonoma California studio.
