Description
Indie brands are admired for their ability and inclination to go against the grain. This often results in fragrances with unique personalities, charismatic natures, and unexpected progressions. One of these fragrances is Maai by Bogue, and it has been admired since its release in 2014. This long-lasting and unique composition combines sparkling and effervescent aldehydes with animalic civet and musk. The dark and classic elements of the pefume bring us back to a generation when perfume making was at its peak. The industry had fewer concerns in terms of ingredients being used as well as far fewer restrictions. The resins and tuberose are natural and robust. The civet is anything but timid, and the resins are warm and exotic. Old School Charm is our inspired expression of Maai by Bogue, and the tenacity of the original has been preserved in our inspired expression. Was really looking forward to my order with this brand. Description reads 100ml bottles. NOT TRUE! These bottle are 1.1 oz (basically samples) & they are charging $19 wholesale for each. #1 False ADVERTISING! #2 Price does not justify what's received. #3 When I contacted them via message, they blamed Faire for misrepresentation for description and then ignored me after I responded. Some of the scents are good. But their pricing is unrealistic & communication isn't where it should be. DO BETTER!
