Growing up in Wyoming and riding horses most of my life has had an influence on the style of art and glass that I sculpt. Actually, Wyoming is where I got my start in making hand-blown glass art, glass sculptures, and glass jewelry. I have a background in painting a sculpturing in various forms. Glass is the one I stuck with. While I have devoted the last few years to doing lots of sea life sculptures and sea life jewelry, I still like to make a western-style piece once in a while. The beauty of the Horse amazes me. Capturing its grace and strength in this art form is rather difficult. But I have made many horses over the years, most of them in clear glass.
