Wholesale Miniature bonbonnière in oven-fired blue porcelain — gilded gallant scene — tripod with gilded feet

A miniature painting, inspired by the great Watteau scenes of the 18th century, rendered with remarkable finesse at this scale. The piece rests on three gilded feet shaped like little paws, giving it the air of a precious miniature piece of furniture. A thin gold band runs around the rim of the lid. The interior is enameled in smooth, glossy cobalt blue. Dimensions: approximately 5 cm in diameter × 4 cm high. French production, second half of the 20th century.
