Rebekah Punak

General Counsel

Rebekah Punak is the General Counsel at Faire, overseeing the Counsel team. Rebekah comes to Faire from Meta where she served as the Director and Associate General Counsel for their Central Products Org for five years. While there, she led a team of 50 lawyers advising the company on issues ranging from product and privacy, to competition, regulation, security, and IP. Prior to Meta, she was Vice President at Instacart for 5 years leading legal and policy for the company at a critical time in its growth.

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Max Rhodes is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Faire. A former small business owner, Max is passionate about the positive impact of local commerce on society, and has made it his mission to help independent retailers and brands build thriving businesses and grow stronger communities.

Prior to Faire, Max was an early product lead at Square, where he worked on Cash App and was a founding member of Square Capital, a product that helped more than 230,000 merchants access capital to grow their businesses. He holds a B.A. in history from Yale.

Jason Lee

Chief Financial Officer

Jason Lee is the Chief Financial Officer of Faire, where he leads the company's strategic finance, accounting, and investor relations teams. Prior to Faire, he spent over a decade leading finance for Square and investor relations for Block. He also previously held roles at PayPal, TPG Capital, and Morgan Stanley. He holds a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Chief Revenue Officer

Jen Burke is the Chief Revenue Officer of Faire, overseeing North American Brand Partnerships, Brand Success, Retailer Sales, and Revenue Operations. Jen joined Faire in 2019 as Head of Brand Sales and Account Management, and was instrumental in building Faire's North American Revenue teams. Prior to Faire, she spent time at ClassPass, Bain & Company, McCann Erickson, MasterClass, and Disney. She holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Brown University.

Marcelo Cortes

Co-founder and Chief Architect

Marcelo Cortes is the co-founder and Chief Architect of Faire. He sets the technical vision for Faire’s powerhouse engineering team. A former small business owner and previous startup founder, Marcelo, brings entrepreneurship and technical expertise to ensure Faire can quickly scale world-class products from prototype to launch. Prior to Faire, he was a staff software engineer at Square, and a senior software engineer at Google. He studied computer science at the University of Waterloo.

Jeff Kolovson

Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer

Jeff Kolovson is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Faire. A founding partner of Faire, Jeff rejoined the company as COO after a period leading growth and operations at Opendoor. Prior to co-founding Faire, Jeff held various leadership roles at Square, where he worked in product, business development, marketing, analytics, and business operations. In college, Jeff launched Evolving Vox, a furniture rental company, which he sold for a profit after two years of operations. He holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Dartmouth College.

Chief People Officer

Neervi Patel is the Chief People Officer at Faire. Neervi oversees all aspects of Faire’s employee and workplace operations, including global recruiting, people ops, culture development, and career paths. Known for driving out-of-the-box conversations and thriving in hyper-growth environments, Neervi joined Faire after leading People teams at Dropbox. Previous roles also include Deloitte, Disney, GE, and CEB, Gartner. She holds a MS in Organizational Psychology from Columbia, a Coaching Certification from the Coaches Training Institute, and a BS in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill.

Thuan Pham

Chief Technology Officer

Thuan Pham is the Chief Technology Officer of Faire, responsible for Faire’s global Engineering, Data, and IT teams. Thuan has a long career track record of growing iconic technology companies from early stages, such as NetGravity/DoubleClick, VMware, and Uber. Prior to joining Faire, Thuan served as CTO of Coupang and Uber, and in various Vice President roles at VMWare. Thuan holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chief Strategy Officer

Dan Hockenmaier is the Chief Strategy Officer at Faire. Dan oversees the team responsible for leveraging data and customer insights to drive some of Faire’s most important strategic decisions. Dan joined Faire in 2021 after his strategy and analytics firm, Basis One, was acquired by Faire following a four year period advising on the platform’s largest growth and expansion opportunities. Previous roles also include consultant at Boston Consulting Group and TSG Consumer Partners and Director of Growth at Thumbtack. He graduated from the University of Southern California.
