Because vinyl is temperature-sensitive, it naturally firms up and loses elasticity in colder environments. This often accounts for a "stiff" feel if the product has been exposed to lower temperatures. To help restore the intended flexibility, you might find that letting the item sit in a warm, room-temperature environment for a few hours allows the material to soften back to its standard state. This occurs naturally with all types of vinyl bags. We also hear you on the handle dimensions. Since this is a hand-carried style, the handles were not designed to accommodate shoulder carry.
