About MC1R Magazine

MC1R is the world's first magazine for redheads from Hamburg. It was founded in 2013 by Tristan Rodgers and is published once a year. The 7th edition is now on sale. All interviews, reports, essays or photo stories revolve around the culture and concerns of “redheads.” The magazine title MC1R is derived from the melanocortin-1 receptor. The key protein, also called redhead gene, is responsible for regulating pigment production in hair and skin in humans.Read their story
