It can be consumed as an aperitif or dessert wine. CHOICE OF WINE To prepare your homemade hypocras, you can use a red, rosé, or sweet white wine. With a red wine > To benefit from the full range of aromas, choose a fairly tannic red wine (all sun wines are suitable even inexpensive ones - Vin de l'Hérault, de l'Aude, Côtes du Rhône ...). With a white (sweet) wine, your hypocras will mainly express ginger notes. STORAGE: at least 4 months in the refrigerator. For the best result, it is preferable to let your homemade aperitif rest for at least 1 week.
