Insider is our monthly paid membership program for retailers. Insider members receive the following benefits as part of their membership:
- Free shipping on thousands of brands, selected by Faire. Some require an order of €300 (or local currency equivalent) to qualify.
- Free import duties on select orders.
- Exclusive, early access to Faire’s online buying events and new brand arrivals on the site.
- UK only: Exclusive access to Faire phone support: Insiders can request a call from a Faire team member if they ever have any questions.

Where is Insider available?
Insider is available to the majority of retailers in the following countries:

Insider is not available in the following countries: Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania.
How can I join Insider?
Eligible retailers can sign up for a free trial by:
- Logging in to your Faire account
- Visiting the Insider tab, where you'll see an option to sign up
You may also see the option to join Insider during checkout, only when a brand you are ordering from would be eligible for Insider free shipping—if this is the case, you’ll see the option to select free shipping as your Shipping method option. By selecting Insider free shipping as a shipping method and placing your order, you are accepting the Insider Terms and Conditions and enrolling into a monthly paid membership once any applicable free trial expires.
If you are a retailer in one of the countries where Insider is available, and you do not see the option to sign up for Insider, you are not eligible to do so at this time. We will let you know once you become eligible to sign up.
For a limited time, all eligible retailers will receive a 3-month free trial of Insider. Please note, if you have previously signed up for Insider and canceled, you will not be eligible for another free trial.
How much does Insider cost?
After your free trial ends, the Insider membership fee will be charged monthly to the payment method you select. The monthly membership fee helps ensure we can continue providing you exclusive benefits to maximize your savings when you shop on Faire.
Insider monthly membership fees vary depending on your local currency. Current Insider fees by currency (exclusive of VAT) include:

How does billing work?
You will be billed for Insider every 30 days from the date you first enroll. If you are on a free trial, you will be billed 90 days from the date you first enrolled, as long as you don’t cancel before that date.
After your free trial, the Insider membership fee will be automatically charged every 30 days from the date you first signed up. We will charge the fee to the payment method selected when you joined. To edit your payment method or view your billing history, you can visit the Insider Membership tab under your Account Settings.
How do I find brands with Insider free shipping and import duties?
To find brands and products that offer Insider free shipping and duties, you can look for the Insider key while shopping. You’ll notice there are two types of keys:
- Insider - for brands with this key, you do not have a spend minimum to unlock Insider free shipping and duties
- Insider over €300 (or local currency equivalent) - for brands with this key, you’ll unlock free shipping as long as your order is over €300 (or local currency equivalent). We’re testing this as a way to give you access to Insider free shipping on even more brands.
For these brands, you’ll need to spend over €300 (or local currency equivalent) every time you order from the brand in order to unlock free shipping.
Please note, your subtotal will need to be €300 (or local currency equivalent) or more after any applicable discounts and before any applicable taxes or fees to qualify for Insider over €300 (or local currency equivalent) free shipping.
Insider shipping over €300 will be shown in your local currency as follows:
EUR - €300
GBP - £250
DKK - kr2000
NOK - kr3000
SEK - kr3000
CHF - 300 CHF
If you’d like to filter your shopping experience so you only see products with Insider free shipping, you can do so by selecting the Insider filter.
How does Faire select which brands have Insider free shipping and free import duties?
The brands selected for free shipping and free import duties are personalized for each retailer. We account for a few factors in deciding which brands have shipping and duties covered, including the brand’s shipping location, and estimated shipping cost.
Free shipping coverage may change periodically. For example, coverage can change when we make adjustments based on estimated costs or when we’re testing out new factors such as relationship type. This flexibility allows us to offer free shipping on as many orders as possible while keeping the price of your Insider membership affordable.
Please note, brands do not opt in to the Insider program and there is no way to request that a specific brand be included in your Insider membership.
Who funds the Insider benefits I get?
Faire typically pays for all or some of the shipping cost and 100% of import duties to help you get the best margins on your orders. For some orders where shipping is more expensive, brands may split the shipping cost with Faire to help you get free shipping. Note that brands do not choose which of their retailers are eligible to receive free shipping on their brand when they opt into splitting the cost with Faire.
How does Faire cover the cost of import duties?
We'll apply a discount to your invoice that reflects the estimated cost of import duties for your order. The carrier will send you an invoice for all import fees (including import duties and VAT), which you'll pay in full.
Please note that the following costs are not covered:
- VAT
- Excise taxes and any other taxes
- There may be other fees associated with specific categories, brokerage fees, holding fees, etc. These fees are not covered.
If the actual cost of import duties and disbursement fees is more than the preemptive discount you received, you can request a reimbursement for the difference on your Orders page by clicking on the Request Duties Credit button. Enter the total cost of import duties charged by the carrier in the Duties box, and disbursement fees in the Disbursement Fees box. If your request is approved, the reimbursement will be awarded to your account in Faire credit, immediately. If your request is denied, please contact our support team.
What other benefits come with an Insider membership?
Insider members get exclusive, early access to shop Faire’s online buying events, helping you lock in the best deals before everyone else! Ahead of each virtual event, you’ll be given tips to help you plan your shopping, plus details on when your early access will begin.
As an Insider member, you also get to shop the newest brands to join Faire, 48 hours before other retailers. To explore the latest new products, you can click Insider Early Access at the top of your homepage.
Where can I find my membership invoice?
If you’d like to view any past payments you have made for your Insider membership, you can do so through your Insider tab. You can click View Billing History on the Insider settings page, and then click Download for the individual invoices.
Can I cancel my membership?
You can choose to cancel your Insider membership anytime, without fees or penalties. To cancel, you do so on the Insider Membership tab in the Settings section of your portal.
If you decide to cancel your Insider membership before your next billing date, your membership will continue until the end of your current billing cycle. For example, if your membership is scheduled to renew on 30th June, but you cancel it on 15th June, your membership will end on 30th June. You will have access to your Insider benefits up until that date. If you cancel before your free trial ends, you will not incur any charges.
At this time, there is no option to pause your membership, but you can cancel and choose to rejoin whenever you’d like in the future. Upon rejoining, you will not receive another free trial, and payment will be required upon reactivating your membership.
How does Faire phone support work for UK Insiders?
If you are based in the UK, as part of your Insider membership, you’ll get exclusive access to Faire phone support. We operate on a callback basis. Once you request a phone call, a support specialist will contact you within 3 minutes during our operating hours (9-5) To request a call back:
- Select the Contact us button located in our Help Center
- Sign into your Faire account
- You’ll be directed to a page with prompts you can fill in to tell us more about the issue:
- Fill out the form with details about your issue
- Choose Request a call from Faire
Please note that you need an active Insider membership in order to access phone support, and that this support option is currently only available to Insiders in the UK, in English.
We’re piloting this new support option in the UK as an exclusive benefit for Insiders. During this phase, we’re focusing on refining the experience and expanding our operational capacity before rolling it out to additional countries.
If you cancel your Insider membership, you will no longer have access to Faire phone support, but you’ll still be able to contact the Faire customer experience team over chat or email.
