The dress is a beautiful drape of deep, dark ruby silk with purplish highlights on the disc and a lovely bright sheen. The tears are numerous and moderately slow. The first nose is discreet, with an animal accent. The second nose, after a swirl in the glass, reveals aromas of blond tobacco and spices like cinnamon and black pepper, with notes of leather. With a little time, fragrances of ripe red cherry and candied blackberry develop. The attack on the palate is round and juicy. The fruit then arrives with aromas of candied blackberries and very ripe wild strawberries. The heart of the palate still expresses these flavors, to which fine notes of pepper and cinnamon are added. The tannins are present without excess. They assert themselves more on the finish from the opening. Aeration will allow them to express maturity and roundness. This wine develops a well-present warmth that marks the balance with freshness.
