Acherontia Atropos (n) - the Death's-Head Hawkmoth is most commonly identified by the skull-shaped pattern adorning the thorax These earrings are inspired by taxidermy butterfly collections and old Natural History Illustrations, but are one hundred percent sustainable and cruelty free. They are mounted on a replica library card that fell out of a Victorian encyclopedia of animals while I was researching specimens.
