This transparent material is made specifically for wrapping cheese by our manufacturer in France. Cellophane is derived from wood-based cellulose fibers designed to be permeable to moisture and allow oxygen exchange. Its porous properties make it ideal for all cheese types, especially bloomy and geotrichum rinded cheeses. Cellophane is not treated with any plasticizers and poses no health risk. It is 100% biodegradable and can be composted in a commercial facility.  We stock sheets in two sizes: 8.25" x 9.85", 9.85" x 12.55". Both sizes come packed 1,000 sheets per case. **Due to our adherence to stringent food safety standards, we cannot accept returns of opened cases. We recommend ordering samples of new materials before purchasing a full case, and confirming that you received the correct product before opening the case.
