Tuccioliva is the brand under which the San Amador Cooperative produces its high-end oil "Gran Selección." Located in the municipality of Martos (Jaén), the Cooperative was established in 1960 and since 1994 the company changed its production system to the "Continuous Ecological Two-Phase System." The production of this oil takes place in October with the harvest of exclusively green olives and through a cold extraction process. It is a very particular Extra Virgin Olive Oil, combining extreme delicacy with extraordinary density, subtle and fresh fragrances: among its main qualities are a very fine, well-balanced fruitiness, with hardly any bitterness and barely any spiciness, very well modulated. Tuccioliva has achieved numerous awards and recognitions, such as the gold medal at the Los Angeles Olive Oil International Competition in 2011 and is included among the best extra virgin olive oils in the world in the prestigious Flos Olei guide.
