Description
The ficus elastica comes in many different varieties. Some with cream glossy leaves and beautiful tints of pink and burgundy, and others a gorgeous deep dark green colour. The ficus elastica is a gorgeous houseplant and is sure to be the perfect addition to your indoor jungle. The rubber plant gets its name from the white latex running through its veins, which was once used to make rubber. Its luscious, glossy leaves have a thick, rubber-like look. This elegant houseplant is very low-maintenance so you won’t need to worry too much about caring for it. Just another reason why this plant is perfect for plant newbies or time poor plant lovers. Please note: this is a natural plant, the variety of ficus elastica may vary from the photo. Please note: people with asthma and latex allergies should avoid this plant.
